Design Director
My journey in the world of design began 8 years ago in Queensland, Australia. Since 2017, I have led my own interior design business, crafting beautiful homes for clients and embarking on personal projects that fuelled my passion for design. By the end of 2020, life had brought me to Hobart, Tasmania, where I proudly established We Ponder – an esteemed products company specializing in Tasmanian Handmade ceramic lighting. While managing this exciting venture, I continued to work privately with interior design clients on residential new builds and renovation projects.
At the core of my design approach is the amplification of my clients’ vision and needs. Recognizing the significance that finding the perfect balance between form and function is monumental to a projects success.
Central to my approach is effective communication and teamwork, collaborating closely with architects, builders, and tradespeople to seamlessly execute designs while keeping clients’ goals at the forefront.
I am excited to share my Tasmanian work and to welcome you to our new Showroom / Interior Design Studio, situated in the heart of Hobart city. I can't wait to collaborate with you, understand your vision and craft spaces together.

Armed with a Bachelor's degree in Design, with a focus on object design, and fueled by a deep enthusiasm for interior design, We Ponder presents the ideal fusion of my interests. The everchanging Tasmanian landscape and the chance to be part of We Ponder's projects in all areas of this state is what I look forward to the most throughout my career working with Rose and Dot at the studio.

Woof! I'm Dottie, the heart warming spirit of We Ponder. Greeting guests with tail wags and happy barks is my specialty. From my sunny spot by the window on Harrington Street, I watch the world while the team crafts beautiful spaces. I may not design, but my love fills every corner, boosting their passion. Walks outside inspire them, and I remind them to cherish the little joys. I'm more than a dog; I'm their beloved design companion, spreading happiness and love with each wag of my tail.
